What stays on your device

• Every tool runs in your browser. The names you look up, your searches and the worlds you pick are never sent to a server.
• Two things are saved in your browser's local storage, and only there: your light or dark theme choice (under the name mythmarsh-theme) and the episodes you tick in the Odyssey guide (under mythmarsh-odyssey). Clearing your browser's data for this site removes them, and the Odyssey guide has a button to clear its ticks.
• Searches on the god finder and name converter can appear in the address bar so you can share a link; they stay in your browser unless you share it.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to the pages to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you type into the tools. The site has no analytics of its own, no ads and no tracking cookies.

Links to other sites

Citations link to the Perseus Digital Library, Wikisource, the Online Etymology Dictionary and other reference sites, and the footer links to sister sites and to CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.

Hosting

The pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, its servers handle the usual technical data of a web request, such as your IP address, to deliver the page.
